sound card problem
hy everybody! I really need some help!
this is my setup: Toshiba satellite centrino@1.73ghz,1 Gb ram,ati radeon 9700 series,Xvid, and an external sound card:Trust SC-5500P 5.1 External surround Soundcard,http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx...7&v=4(connects through usb and no external electrical alimentation0.i have two options in installing this:with the drivers and without the drivers.the problem is that with the drivers installed i have 5.1 surround sound with a creative 5.1 system but after exactly 37 minutes all I can hear is a gargling sound and the picture is acting like hell: it goes forward like being pressed the ffwd button on an old vhs player(if you remember);now if i uninstall these drivers i only have sound in the front speakers the center and the subwoofer. I have set the speakers out to 5.1 in the win control panel. I use AC3 0.70b and this happens with all the players i’ve tried: vlc, bsplayer, mpc.I really don’t know what to do next.i use a tv hooked on the laptop through s-video tv-out in dual video mode, and if I grab the image to put it on the laptop screen the gargling sound disappears and the image is again correctly played can somebody give me a clue? |

Download the updated drivers there. Also, have you tried several different videos and they all fail at 37 minutes? It could just be that one video has a problem in the encoding sequence at that point? |

Hi and welcome to TSF. Have you tried this device on another computer?
